Welcome to our creative hub! Our workshops are designed to ignite the creative spark in everyone, providing a space for connection, joy, and hands-on fun. Whether you're joining a public session at our studio or booking a private experience, this policy ensures a smooth and wonderful time for all.

 

We offer two types of creative workshops:

1. Public Workshops: Ticketed events held at our Industry City studio, open to anyone who wants to join.

2. Private Workshops: A curated event booked just for your group, held either at our studio or a location of your choice.​

1. Public Workshops

These policies apply to our ticketed, in-studio workshops listed on our public events calendar.

• Booking and Payment:

  • Tickets must be purchased in advance through our online calendar to reserve your spot.

  • As spots are limited, full payment is required at the time of booking.

• Cancellation by Participant:

  • We understand plans can change. If you need to cancel, please provide us with at least 72 hours' notice before the workshop start time to receive a credit for a future workshop.

  • Cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice and no-shows are non-refundable and will not receive a credit.

  • You are always welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend if you are unable to attend. Please just let us know the name of the new attendee.

• Punctuality:

  • Our workshops begin promptly at the scheduled time to ensure all participants get the full experience and instruction. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to get settled.

• Cancellation by Think Talk Create:

  • We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel a workshop, you will be notified via email and will receive a full refund of your ticket price.

2. Private Workshops

These policies apply when you book our team for a private event, perfect for birthdays, baby showers, or corporate team-building days.

• Booking Process:

  • To begin, please fill out the inquiry form on our contact page. We will respond within 48 business hours to schedule your complimentary consultation.

• Deposit and Final Payment:

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your chosen date and time. Your booking is not confirmed until this deposit is paid.

  • The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to your event date.

• Pricing and Inclusions:

  • Our private workshop package starts at $595.

  • This base package includes:

    • A 2-hour hosted session for up to 8 guests.

    • A themed, guided creative activity designed by our educators.

    • All necessary materials and instruction.

    • Full themed party-ware and decor.

    • Themed cupcakes, pizza, and juice/water for your guests.

• Guest Count and Add-Ons:

  • The base package includes up to 8 guests. Additional guests can be added for a per-person fee.

  • Your final guest count must be confirmed no later than 7 days prior to your event to ensure we have the correct amount of materials and supplies.

  • We offer many "Elevate Your Celebration" add-ons, from gourmet treats to custom swag, which can be incorporated into your event.

• Cancellation by Client:

  • The 30% deposit is non-refundable.

  • If you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled event date, the full event fee will be forfeited as our team will have already purchased materials and dedicated resources for your event.

• Traveling Workshops:

  • We are happy to bring the workshop to you! Our team will bring all materials, instruction, and fun directly to your location.

  • A travel fee may apply for locations outside of our standard service area in Brooklyn. This will be discussed and included in your event proposal.

3.  General Workshop Policies

• Photo & Video Release: By attending any workshop, you agree to our standard Photo & Video Release Policy, which allows us to capture the creative process for our marketing and portfolio materials. Please refer to the full policy on our website for details, including how to opt-out.

• Safety: For your safety and the enjoyment of all guests, we ask that you follow all instructions provided by our lead educators during the workshop.
